Terms of service
Last updated November 7, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and The 110 Collective LLC (“we”, “us”), the Texas company that makes Commons. By using Commons you agree to them. If you're setting up Commons for a church, you agree on the church's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to have an account.
- Keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
How to treat each other
Each church sets rules of engagement that everyone agrees to when they first open the app. Beyond those, don't use Commons to harass anyone, share anything illegal or sexual, share someone else's private information or photos of children without permission, impersonate someone, or try to get into accounts or information that aren't yours. Churches may limit or remove access for anyone who breaks these rules, and so may we.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You give your church and us permission to store and show it to the people it's shared with, only to run Commons. Your church may remove content from its space.
Churches
- A church owns the information it puts in Commons and can export it at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
- Church admins decide who gets which access, and are responsible for collecting information about people, including children, with the permission the law requires.
- Churches pay by the number of volunteers they schedule, as listed on our site. Members never pay. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. A church can cancel any time; its plan runs to the end of the period it paid for.
Commons itself
Commons, its design and its name belong to The 110 Collective LLC. Don't copy, resell or try to take apart the software. We keep improving Commons, which means features may change.
Beta
Commons is in beta. That means it's still being built and tested with a small number of churches. During the beta, features may change, move or be removed, things may break, and we may need to pause the service briefly to fix or improve it. Keep your own copies of anything important. Your feedback shapes what we build next; by sharing it, you let us use it to improve Commons. Beta features are covered by everything else in these terms.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Commons running and secure, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. Commons doesn't replace your church's own safety practices, such as checking who picks up a child.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what the church paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending
You can stop using Commons any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever stop offering Commons, we'll give churches at least 60 days' notice and a copy of their information.
The legal part
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let churches know first.
